At the end of last term a group of volunteers from the Musgrave Crane restoration team visited local primary schools to teach the children about cranes with a special emphasis on the Musgrave Crane. The children finished the session by designing their own cranes using simple materials – take a look at the gallery! Maybe we will see some future engineers in the future…
The children from Sketty Primary said:
“We really enjoyed making our cranes and learning all about the different cranes. It was much better than a normal lesson in school because it was fun and we got to make our cranes. We would like the crane workshop to come again to our school because we learned so much.”
A big thanks to Nour and Arthur for planning and presenting the workshop.
